Shipping Merchant (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
- Analysis of transport and cargo markets
- Development of market-oriented service offerings
- Planning and management of transports
- Cost calculation and results analysis
- Organization of sea vessel clearance in ports
- Handling of damage and insurance claims
- Processing of ship- and cargo-related documents
- Execution of business processes in English
Your training:
- You will rotate through various departments of our shipping company and gain insight into a wide range of commercial business processes
- The standard training period is 3 years and can be shortened if applicable
- The accompanying vocational school training takes place at BBS in Leer
Your qualifications:
- Secondary school certificate, advanced technical college entrance qualification or A-levels
- Good English and geography skills
- Interest in international business
- Strong organizational skills
- Team spirit and good communication skills
